The Grand Hotel is a 70-room boutique hotel in Nanaimo’s north end. Nestled in a natural rock garden that wraps around the property, the hotel features lush foliage, rose bushes, fig trees, a herb garden, and even an olive tree! The garden is a particularly fitting venue for wedding ceremonies and bridal party photographs.
The property offers ample space for corporate retreats, weddings and conferences of various sizes. The ballroom can accommodate up to 130 wedding guests with a dance floor, or up to 200 guests in theatre-style seating.
The Grand Cru Restaurant offers West Coast fusion cuisine and is home to Nanaimo’s only whisky bar with over 150 international whiskies.
We are minutes from downtown Nanaimo and key transportation services, including B.C. and Hullo ferry services, Harbour Air seaplane and Helijet helicopter terminals, and Nanaimo Airport.
